Re: Not sure if it's 19th Hanau or an older German of Swiss item
Wow, that's very interesting, thank you very much Joerg! I didn't know about the Büttenmann figures! I saw many good quality silver in Hanau but this one looks exceptionally good, it's why I leave a margin that it's Hanau. Do you know anything about Baroque silver from Strasburg? maybe they used 13 ...

Re: May it be XVIII century Lithuanian silver?
Dear Qrt.S thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, I agree that I need to widen my search beyond Lithuania. Jϋrgen Specht lived in XVII Century and apparently this mark is on an item from XVIII century... You may be right though that Baltica is the region I should look closer at. Once again man...

May it be XVIII century Lithuanian silver?
Hello, can anyone identify this mark? On auctioneers website it is identified as 'presumably Vilnius, Thadeus Skendzierski, 1758 - 1788' but I never come across his mark consisting of intertingled letters. It's always separate TS. I would much appreciate your opinion. https://www.lempertz.com/lemper...

Does anyone have any idea what mark is it? Is it just Hanau? I would appreciate your help. https://grabekwlublinie.artsaas.pl/crm/saas/grabekwlublinie/images/b76af611-6a28-db1f-d8df-51deeedca321/90608bee-97d9-cc6a-39fb-6346782fb413/original.jpg https://grabekwlublinie.artsaas.pl/crm/saas/grabekwlubl...

Dear Qrt.S,
Thank you very much for taking an effert to check it up in your library.
I also feel it could be Lithuania from that time but it would be great to be sure about it :)
All the best,
Lukasz

XVIIth / XVIIIth century Italian? Spanish? mark to identify
Is this mark familiar to anyone? My gut feeling tells me that it comes from Italy or Spain or even the New World but I may be wrong. It is much bigger than holly water fountains from Germany, it measures 32.00 x 19.80 x 5.80 cm and weights 361 gramms. I will be very grateful for help. https://grabek...

Dear Blackstone,
Thank you so much! I knew my intuitions are not precise and now I know why - I never saw a piece of a Swiss silver mark before :)
Once again many thanks!
Best regards,
Åukasz

Tea pot with dragon's scale - help identify the marks
Dear Forum Users, I have a problem with identification of these marks. I bought it without seeing the marks as an 'English tea pot' but it seems to me that the lion's head doesn't make it made in London. I can not work out the mark on the left. Letters R and F under crown make me think of the Nether...
