Mystery makers mark c.1900 bracelet ?
Hi, do you recognise this “MuS” makers mark? It is on this extraordinary bracelet. The bracelet carries 1872-1901 Austrian import mark. So the piece is remarkable for its age and probably dates to c 1900 and looks like a Wiener Werksatte style piece. But presumably is not Austrian. Perhaps Czech or ...

Mystery FJ maker's mark on arts and crafts style letter opener
Hi, If you recognise this makers monogram (FJ) I would love to hear your thoughts, thank you. As you can see it's on a remarkable letter opener, very high quality, with cloisonne enamel handle. It is marked STERLING, so I thing American and probably c 1910-20, but perhaps it is more modern. 19.5 cm ...

Re: What is the Italian star mark. See image
The star mark is on this silver askos panther handled jug. See image. For those that know me well this is a second, slightly smaller one, to the one I have by Giacinto Melillo. The maker of this Askos is unknown - I think not Melillo. I now understand the star mark which would date the piece to c 19...

Mystery makers mark?
Hi, can anyone help identify the makers mark on this Japanese silver and enamel spoon. Based on other similar spoons I have had I would expect this to be Yokohama work, c 1900. Typically these spoons are marked for Sanju Saku or Samurai Shokai. All thoughts welcome. I have shown the mark both ways u...

Help identifying art nouveau makers mark "P&Z"
Hi, I have acquired this delightful small French art nouveau box. Marked for French 800 silver (boars head). Almost certainly made c 1905. The makers mark is very hard to read but seems to me to be "P&Z". Any help identifying this greatly appreciated. Thank you Anthony https://i.postim...

Re: Mystery American arts and craft maker?
I am now pretty sure the signature is Harold F Sargison, which would make this bowl a very early piece by Sargisom who went on to estsblish the famous Yobart firm “Sargisons”. If anyone can confirm this that wouod be great. Thank you

Re: Mystery American arts and craft maker?
I think it is possible the maker / signature is Harrold F Davison? So not two surnames. All thoughts welcome.

Mystery American arts and craft maker?
Hi, does anyone recognise this maker? I think American, likely c 1910, arts and crafts. Possibly Boston School. It looks like a partnership of a name I cannot identify and Davison. Please see images. Re: Identifying 1909 Dublin mark "I.A. Co"
Thank you all for those comments and I am sure you are right. It is 86, not 88, Grafton Street (though 88 is now Bulgari - so jewellers certainly still predominate). Would still love to know what IA stands for.

Identifying 1909 Dublin mark "I.A. Co"
Hi, can anyone please help me identify the "I.A. Co" sponsor mark illustrated. It is on a classic Celtic revival buckle (Dublin 1909) in its original box retailed by "Jewellers and Silversmiths Company, 88 Grafton Street, Dublin". Would love to know more about them too - they app...
