Hi all,
I have a Clip with an amber droplet that I am pretty sure is silver, which has a mark with a Cyrillic character (a backwards R)
Can anyone help decode the mark? I've added two pictures

Re: Indian Silver? 4 Piece Tea Set with decorations
No photo of the mark posted, so just for a start compare it to the one here and follow Trev's link to another item while you wait for opinions: https://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&p=171943#p171943 Thanks Traintime, On your recommendation I've uploaded an image of the hallmark, if i...

Indian Silver? 4 Piece Tea Set with decorations
I'm after any information I can find about this Tea Set.
I'm thinking it's Indian, possibly Burmese?
Not sure when it is dated either. I encourage all speculations :)
All solid silver with 'Sterling Silver' stamped on the bottom of each piece.

Silver 935 bangle stamped 'Scheid', cannot reconcile with Georg Adam, any ideas?
Hi guys, I have a well made silver bangle with a stamp that reads 'Scheid' 935 and another small symbol that I can't quite see. I have looked at all the stamps for Georg Adam Scheid, and this isn't one of them. Does anyone have any ideas of the company that would have made this? How do I upload phot...

Also, it's slightly concave on the horses side, if that helps!

Old Silver Brooch Looking thing with horse and eyelets
Good evening all, I bought this at auction and didn't think much of it. I recently bought an acid testing kit and tested it with the amber solution. Turns out its silver. There are no hallmarks, and I cannot work out what it is. Any thoughts? http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag210/marcus_sims1/68...

Re: Not sure what this trinket does, can anyone identify it?
Hi, Check the diameter. In German Empire the diameter of silver 1/2 Mark was 20mm. Is it even smaller than that? 10 and 5 Pfennig in copper nickel was about the same, 1-2 mm difference. Many European countries had coins of similar diameter at the time (before The Great War). Regards Thanks guys for...

Hi guys, Could someone tell me what this small item of 800 silver would have been used for? I thought maybe a pill holder, but as the middle of the tube pushes down and is tensioned, I thought perhaps not. I would say money holder but diameter is too small. Any thoughts? http://i1369.photobucket.com...

Ridiculously small hallmarks that make no sense.
Hi guys, I bought a chain mail purse at an auction which is of a nice quality. I managed to find a hallmark on the stem of the clasp but I can't make head nor tail of it. Looks like a knight Templar holding a 7. Pretty sure it's not It may be German Silver as the purse came with a lot of 800 stamped...

Re: Harrods RWB Hallmarks that I can't quite fathom
No mystery here! Your stamp holder was manufactured elsewhere, probably in continental Europe (I can't make out the other marks apart from a "925"), and imported to Britain. Before it could be legally sold as silver it had to pass an assay, so the London Assay Office's import mark confirm...

Harrods RWB Hallmarks that I can't quite fathom
Hi guys I've got a stamp holder stamped RWB which I know to be Harrods but everything else about the hallmarks are a mystery to me For one thing, it looks as though it has an import mark, which, given that Harrods is in London, I can't quite understand. Another difficulty I'm having is in placing th...

Mystery Silver, Indian?
Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone could help identify a style of Silver Jewellery. The attached Necklace has no hallmark, but tests for a high content of silver. The stones are no doubt synthetic. I think it's a very nicely wrought piece of jewellery and would like to see if I can identify the sty...

Hi,
The ring is 50mm across. I can't get a steady enough shot for the makers marks. I just have no clue what it's for!
