Who is Spanish silver maker?

Hello!
Please, tell me about the Spanish silver maker - the hallmark is a chess horse (chess figure - knight).
Christofle had the similar mark since 1935.
Sorry, the photos are just like that.
Regards.

Re: Double wood handled bowl ore quaich

Hello, Funkel. Very detailed table. I have two questions.
1. Do you think that this is one master or a different masters?
2. If it is a group of masters (or all different masters) were they all United on a territorial basis in Spain or all worked separately?
Thanks.
With respect

Re: Double wood handled bowl ore quaich

Hola Funkel! It is very interesting to learn about the Spanish version of the German Hanau. I will be grateful for the sources about the Spanish silversmiths that worked in this way. Everything became clear. By the way, in the discussion of our forum, I found in a new light the incorrect attribution...

Double wood handled bowl ore quaich

Hello! Please, what do you think about the country, the period and the silversmith of production? Hanau ore other? Well seen hallmark with initials. The second hallmark (town?) is defective. On wooden handles there are traces of black paint, for example, Chinese ink. Thanks for any help. https://www...

Two Roemer: Neresheimer ore Gebruder Gutgessel?

Hello! Look at the hallmarks and say, please - it's Neresheimer ore Gebruder Gutgessel work? https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg And the second question. At one of the auctions I saw a description of two similar objects as a double beaker (look at the photo)...

Re: Need help for understanding the Gorham pattern

Hi, AG2012! I used this resource, thanks. Spoon no. 8. In this resource (Queen Bess pattern)- only various coffee (demitasse), not tea. Maybe there were teaspoons of this pattern. I'm not sure. Spoon no. 10. Has slight differences from the pattern Colonial. But very close. Compare photos. 2,3 photo ...

Re: Moscow Russian Niello Cigarette Case

The assay hallmark is seen as real. Compare. The object is a salt shaker. Next, I will show 2 items Sveshnikov - a purse and a snuffbox. The vegetative pattern is similar. But there is one peculiarity in IAS - he worked very hard and deeply with the stylist. Uncompromising. Removed watermarks as I c...

Re: Moscow Russian Niello Cigarette Case

Hello!
In the last photo - above "ИАС" - there is no other branded hallmark? May be resale?
Sveshnikov worked in the technique of niello, the pattern is similar ore close. But the cartouche is everywhere rectangular (what I saw).

Re: Marks on silver vase

Hello Lessing! Sorry, but I do not like this hallmark. The letters of the assay master should be about half the size of the "84". I did not find such a hallmark (with ЯЛ) in a Russian forums. I found a two-letter mark (questionable) and I am sure that the customs hallmarks of St. Petersbur...

Re: Marks on silver vase

Anyway, even with extrapolation (extension of the mark) it looks different from import kokoshnik. Every import kokoshnik I have seen had the first letter of assayer`s family name (``Л``in the last example shown), not initials from the original post ``ЯЛ``. I`m always suspicious when I see the mark ...

Re: Marks on silver vase

Now about the Russian object. He has the hallmark of the first kokoshnik until 1908 on the body and the master's mark. And the inscription: "To the superiors of Our superiors! July 29, 1909!" This is to determine the time of use of the object Porte-bouquet. Sorry for the watermarks. Regard...

Re: Marks on silver vase

I agree with AG2012. ..., there was a hallmark until 1908 and a gift signature of 1909. ??? Please explain yourself a bit better. With some imagination, maybe it could be a part of an import mark, but I have my heavy doubts. The figures are too small. Hello, Qrt.S! I will try to show an example, as...
