Russian coffee spoon kokoshnik left

This little coffee spoon bears the kokoshnik mark 1897-1908 with the assayer's initials AA and a maker's mark in cyryllic "sch" "ja". I couldn't find neither the assayer nor the maker. Regards silverfan https://i.postimg.cc/FsXJYNVs/R0019140.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/SKhZdB4y/R001...

Spoon and Fork Jean Puiforcat

This typical Art Deco flatware bears the mark of Emile Puiforcat, E canif P, which was also used by Jean Puiforcat. The photo of the marks is bad, but the marks show E canif P. Does anybody know the n.ame of the model? Regards silverfan https://i.postimg.cc/1t2WmW0F/R0019131.jpg https://i.postimg.cc...

Dessert Spoon Emile Puiforcat

I just found this spoon by Emile Puiforcat. Does anybody know the name of the model?
The photo of the mark is bad, but the mark of the silversmith shows E canif P for Emile Puiforcat.

Re: German Tea Set Hallmark - EICHERT

Yes, eagle, the mark of Bruckmann, Heilbronn busy 1805-1973. Eichert was the selling jeweller, if I remember well in Berlin.

Re: Judaic silver maker mark

Others say the Meyen mark is the head of Merkur. Here in any case the mark is not definitely recognizable.

Re: Judaic silver maker mark

Here are the marks of Bahner as they should be. Lion's head 1895-1917 and crossed hammers with MS for Mansfelder Silber after 1917.

Re: Judaic silver maker mark

Franz Bahner's mark is not a dog's head but a lion's head. The shown mark is very worn, it could be the woman's head of Meyen, Berlin.

Re: French looking egg spoon

Hi Peter, surprising news. Not expected. In our forum I read:" The script letter I, used 1906-53 as a Dutch duty mark for all newly manufactured Dutch silver objects that tested below the legal standard of 833/1000 fineness,.....". So the egg spoon has a fineness below 833/1000 ( perhaps 8...

French looking egg spoon

This little egg spoon (11,8 cm long) looks French for me but does not bear French marks. The monogram RV or VR on the backside looks ancien régime. The only legible mark is a B with something above. The second mark below I cannot identify. Does anybody know where the item comes from? Regards silverf...

Re: Two salts-cellars

I tried to take a better photo but in spite of many attempts withhout success. So I hope a member will recognize the maker's mark with my explanation of the initials C and M with a tree or flower/plant between.

Two salts-cellars

On an antique market I found 2 French salts with minerva premier titre and very tiny lozenge mark. With a magnifying glass I identified the master's initials as C and M with a tree or a flower between, what is difficult to recognize in the photo. Doe anybody know the maker? You can also see the number 1 in front of the head, also confirming "premier titre" = silver 950.

Re: Hallmark on “shot cup”

The cup is French. The Minerva mark with cut corners stands for silver 950. There must be a makers mark in lozenge form.

Flatware of unknown origin

Origin could be Germany, Switzerland or another European country. The handles of knife and fork are marked PB on one side and W on the other. W could stand for the town, but that is only an assumption. Has anyone an idea? The blade is marked KÜL. Regards silverfan https://i.postimg.cc/66g4gB65/R0019...
