Re: Silver Oklad 1817

Hello,

thanks for the reply. For the early period it is certainly difficult to determine. But that's two names :D

Thanks!

Silver Oklad 1817

Hello folks, I have a silver Oklad from 1817. Nibus and Oklad are completely hallmarked. The city hallmark is Moscow. The examiner for I.B would probably have to be Ivan Ivanovich Vikhlyaev. This also fits with time. This probably checked until 1818. What I couldn't find out is the master for K.I Ma...

Thank you both!

In a roundabout way I was able to show the piece the lamp to a priest from the former Yugoslavia. Thank you for your effort...

Russian Silver orthodox

Hello folks, Can someone confirm to me whether this is the correct master and the correct inspector? It should Inspector A.S. --(Svechin. A. - 1862 -1875..) and Dmitriev. M. minted and master blacksmith 1854-1877 be. Unfortunately, the city hallmark cannot be clearly seen, but it should be Moscow. I...

Re: Silver Oklad by who?

Hello Yes, annoying that there is only the master's brand, why only that. The others, as I said, were probably on the Nimbus. Well, you probably won't be able to clarify. By the way, here is the icon for it. Greetings Marcel https://i.postimg.cc/JtC2tCnG/P1050792.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/kX9NMvFj/P1...

Re: Silver Oklad by who?

Hello,

the associated icon is genuine and dates from the mid-19th century. The associated and matching oklad is silver tested. I am familiar with silver, but unfortunately not with Russian masters and hallmarks.

Silver Oklad by who?

Hello forum community, I received a silver Oklad icon yesterday. Unfortunately, the nimbus is not complete. The hallmarks were probably there where it was missing. The only hallmark I found was on the edge of the oklad. A Cyrillic F and an M. I assume it's the master. Can you help me? When is this a...

Yes, but the thread doesn't mean anything except that someone wants to leave the board.

Thank you anyway

Re: Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?

And the bottom stamp is that a double portrait of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria?

But not many works by Sazikov have this mark. Does that mean that the piece might have been at an exhibition by Sazikov?

Would be interesting.

Re: Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?

Yes, the piece is really very high quality. It is the same technique used to paint icons.
It is egg tempera painted on metal.

The figure depicted is probably St. Peter with a scroll in his hand.

Whether the amulet also had to be blessed after completion, as was the case with icons, I cannot say

Re: Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?

So it's the city mark of St. Petersburg? Always thought to recognize a rider, for Moscow. Then I got too stuck on it.

Re: Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?

Thank you so much, just awesome!

So there were several court jewelers in Moscow at the same time, including Sazikov?

Greetings and thanks again!

Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?

Hello everyone, I have an amulet for her. It is a silver vermeil amulet. Two hallmarks were probably intentionally made unrecognizable. The fact is that it was probably made by the court jeweler. Can anyone identify the manufacturer's mark and the city mark? Greetings and many thanks Ps, I hope it w...

Re: Russian Silver Oclad

Enthusiasm for sure;) But the fact is that the icon was owned by the family since before 1950.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for your time
