Do anyone recognize the following marks on a pair of earrings, they looks to be sterling silver but I am not 100% sure. The marking is a 5 point star linking to another character which I do not recognize. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kevalie,
I can't help much, but the marking is Spanish.

Hello
I can confirm that these hallmarks are of Spanish solid silver, manufactured between 1934 and 1985. Pentagram is standard hallmark for this period. Alloy used, 915 fineness. Letters J & E in a hexagon is the marker´s mark.
I have several objects with these hallmarks, but do not know who they are. I teach one
