Hi Dael,

Tell us some more about who made the piece. Does it not have any marks?

One of those a unicorn? Much like stuff from Canada in general.

Hello Trev.

Srry I was bussy with work. I think the item is a electroplated copper, probably used for collecting rests of food (I guess).

Hi Dael,

That's a Sheffield Silver Co. piece, see: http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_S.html

I'll be happy to be proved wrong, but I suspect the coat-of-arms is just a fantasy one, factory applied to that range of items to give them an up-market look.

A quick check online revealed several other examples of similar items with the same applied coat-of-arms.

You are right Trev, I saw similar items on eBay, one with the same engraving.

Thank you for your time.
