Hey, there!
I've found that small brooch, marked for Birmingham 1911.
But I'm not able to make out the maker's mark. Who could help me, please?
Yours,
Luci

Re: Birmingham brooch
Hi Luci,
I believe the makers mark is J.R.E. This maker appears to have been a prolific "sweetheart" brooch manufacturer from the very end of the 19th C to the late 1910's as I have come across many examples. Infact, brooches are the only items I have seen by him/her.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to establish the identity of J.R.E, but hopefully someone more learned will know.
Cheers,
Steve
