Hi I have a serving spoon which is good washed and carries the following hallmarks. 13 1/4. 1848 oyset. Can anyone help? Thanks. Bob

Herman Colbjørnsen Øyseth was a silversmith in Oslo. Born 1808, dead 1881, in work 1833 - 1852.

Gentlemen; Please accept my apology for not adding pictures of the small serving spoon with a gold washed bowl of about 6 1/2 cm in length with impressed hallmarks of 13 1/4 1848 OYSET This spoon was from my wife's Grandmother who's family emigrated to the USA from Norway in the 1800's Thank you Bob
