Help with Silver mark - II
Re: Help with Silver mark - II
Hello sdc2007,
the "PL" mark is from Pavel Knudsen Lund (1726-1794) from Aalborg in Denmark. About the other mark I am not sure.
Regards, Ringo

Re: Help with Silver mark - II
Hello, Steve. I'm sorry I can't help you with the silver marks, but if you are wondering about what is engraved at the bottom, I read it like this:
JCG & EKJ
(silver mark PL)
2 Sucher Shaale
vog 19 lod 2 qv
i.e.: JCG & EKJ
2 sugar cups
weight 19 lod 2 qv (= 19 lodd 2 kvintin)
(1 lodd = 14,62 gram
1 kvintin = 3,67 gram)

Hi Steve,
Please remember in future posts that only one item per topic is permitted, else confusion will reign.

Hello Steve,
the other mark is not "HA" but "VH". It is Villads Hansen from Næstved in Denmark.

Ringo
