Hi all,
Here is an interesting little probably colonial Pap Boat. It is mark with HA and a flower mark.
I've had West Indian suggested, but wondering if anyone else had seen these marks before?
(another example of them, with a different HA punch, is in Houstone's book on Australian silver).
Thanks, Ben.

Hi Ben
Can't help with the marks I'm afraid, but the item is an unusual shape, almost as if its been formed from a saucer or small plate.

Hi - a couple of years late I'm afraid, but hopefully you will pick this up!!
I have a fiddle pattern tablespoon hallmarked with a flower and initials HA with the letter D between. Also unidentified. I don't know how these compare with yours? If similar I would be most interested in knowing if you have made any progress with identification. Australia was suggested to me some years ago.

Hi John,
Better late than never! ;)
You 'HA' is a match for mine and your 'D' is a match for the one listed in Houstone's Reference book as 'Possibly Australian'.
I would be interested in see the initials on your spoon?
I haven't made any real progress yet...I'm not convinced it is Australian...As I mentioned I've had Caribbean suggested to me as well. One day.
I'm always on the look out for other examples, so thanks for sharing yours!
Cheers, Ben

Hey team,
Thought I'd give this a bump and re-post my image of the mark...whatever Image host I used has disappeared.
We've found two examples...any more out there!?
