Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?
Hello everyone,
I have an amulet for her. It is a silver vermeil amulet. Two hallmarks were probably intentionally made unrecognizable. The fact is that it was probably made by the court jeweler. Can anyone identify the manufacturer's mark and the city mark?
Greetings and many thanks
Ps, I hope it works with the pictures

«Сазиковъ» Sazikov StPeterburg.
In 1851, Sazikov won the gold medal at the Great world fair in London (the mark of the medal depicting Queen Victoria and Prince Albert).

Thank you so much, just awesome!
So there were several court jewelers in Moscow at the same time, including Sazikov?
Greetings and thanks again!

So it's the city mark of St. Petersburg? Always thought to recognize a rider, for Moscow. Then I got too stuck on it.
Re: Russian Silver-Vermeil Amulett Faberge?
:::: Is this figure hand-painted or was an enamel technique used to create this figure? ::::
:::: The folds & shadows in the fabric are so life-like it's astounding. ::::
:::: The way the colors blend into each other is of such high quality. ::::
:::: Really incredible masterful work, thank you for posting this image :

Yes, the piece is really very high quality. It is the same technique used to paint icons.
It is egg tempera painted on metal.
The figure depicted is probably St. Peter with a scroll in his hand.
Whether the amulet also had to be blessed after completion, as was the case with icons, I cannot say

And the bottom stamp is that a double portrait of Prince Albert and Queen Victoria?
But not many works by Sazikov have this mark. Does that mean that the piece might have been at an exhibition by Sazikov?
Would be interesting.
