The pattern is basically a Gordian Knot design (often just called knot). One source seems to be indicating this firm in Firenze is a subsidiary of the German Wellner. However, ASCAS discusses Wellner operations in Firenze and makes no mention of this. This is carrying a symbol of the Italian Royal Air Force lineage with one source claiming it is an earlier era, but I haven’t been able to confirm that.
