It's not silver, it's silverplate-
The Valsodo is an Italian company specialized in supplies for hotels and communities.
The coat of arms should be that of the Royal Air Force of Savoy

The pattern is basically a Gordian Knot design (often just called knot). One source seems to be indicating this firm in Firenze is a subsidiary of the German Wellner. However, ASCAS discusses Wellner operations in Firenze and makes no mention of this. This is carrying a symbol of the Italian Royal Air Force lineage with one source claiming it is an earlier era, but I haven’t been able to confirm that. (Silverplate of this kind is commonly known as Commercial wares or Restaurant Wares, with an older name used as Hotel Wares. Institutional supplies are a part of this group.) this

Here’s some logo samples with the last one just as your’s appears:

At this link, you can find the presentation and history of Valsodo, which I have Google-translated for you.
Those who speak Italian will appreciate Trilussa's rhymes

Welcome, we have the great pleasure of doing the honors of the house and inviting you to sit at our table.
Our story begins in 1854 in Germany, in Aue, a small mining town in Saxony where our large company was called "Original Wellner", characterized by the old elephant brand, later updated by the three dwarfs.
Original Wellner specialized in silver nickel silver cutlery and tableware and supplied the tables to the best hotels and restaurants throughout Europe.
In 1920 a small Wellner was opened in Florence, in via delle Panche, in the Sodo industrial area. The experience of German materials combined with the creative ability of the Florentine artisans, masters of the burin and famous for centuries for the perfection of the execution and the finesse of the work. The Florentine Wellner was also known and appreciated by the artist Plinio Nomellini, who in 1926 praised her "for the grace of the art with which she was adorned". A few years later the Florentine Wellner had to Italianize its name, which changed to Valsodo, taking its name from the locality in which it was located: Sodo.

Valsodo, famous for the production of silver and silver-plated metal cutlery, was among the first companies to embrace the steel philosophy.
The Valsodo cutlery with its three dwarves inspired Trilussa's poem "Idee 'posate'" which celebrated the new steel cutlery in the 1930s:

"The three dwarfs with the hood/ come out of the case/ to bring the cutlery/ to the Fairies' banquet./ -I am Valsodo! …..says the one/ who goes forward with the knife./ -Celebrated all over the world…/ says immediately the second./ -and stronger than steel!-/ says the one with the spoon./ As the three dwarfs pass by/ everyone claps their hands/ concluding in a comment/ -They are more beautiful than silver!"

Currently, the most modern part of the German industrial plant, dating back to the 1930s, is used as the headquarters of the local Prefecture and the oldest part, dating back to the 19th century, is in the process of being transformed into a museum by the regional government of united Germany .
The brand of the three dwarfs that characterizes our Valsodo cutlery has remained to distinguish the Italian production of the ancient Wellner factory.
