Hi, can anyone help identify the makers mark on this Japanese silver and enamel spoon. Based on other similar spoons I have had I would expect this to be Yokohama work, c 1900. Typically these spoons are marked for Sanju Saku or Samurai Shokai. All thoughts welcome. I have shown the mark both ways up - I am not sure which is correct.
Thanks
Anthony

Re: Mystery makers mark?
Hi Anthony,
The first image is upside down, the second one has been flipped.
it says 純銀, pure silver.
It is indeed a Japanese mark but not a maker's mark.
Hope that helps.
