I recently took out a chain that was given to me as a gift a long time ago, and I never really paid much attention to it until now. I tried to identify what it is, and I've reached the point of saying it's 'c15' (I think, based on the picture). However, I'm having trouble deciphering what is on the left side of the mark. Does anyone here happen to know?
Sorry if the shot is bad
Thank you
Gold mark
Re: Gold mark
The mark on the right is upside down; it is dot 5 in front of manufacturer's logo difficult to decipher.
.5 is year code for 1985.
Can you read the letter in front of the star (assay office letter code)?
Regards

Re: Gold mark
Darn, Ive tried but nothing comes out of the pictures haha
Cant see the print with my regular eyes and my camera cant zoom in to that level of precision might have to go to some gold store and get it checked out perhaps

Re: Gold mark
You mean the 3 letters to me it looks like 583 maybe
Re: Gold mark
Could it be this perhaps
the similarity is high

Re: Gold mark
583 after the star (mark on the left) is of course 14 K gold.
24 K = 1000
14K = 14000 : 24 = 583,33333
That is precise 14 K, although almost everywhere 14 K is marked 585.
