Silver shoeclasp, maker?

Post by Vantlicht »

This silver shoeclasp is marked with several marks, but the hallmark of the maker is not complete. I cannot find a match for this one. Somebody could help me? Thanks in advance!

Maker's mark W E B under silversmith's bellows, for the widow of Mathijs Broese, registered in Amsterdam 1817/1828.
Mathijs Broese, registered in Amsterdam, guild period and beyond 1774-1816, became silversmith in 1774, married twice, 2nd wife Geesje Jeursen. He made small silver items and died in 1816, after which his widow continued the workshop.
