J.H could be Jens Elias Hagenæss of Bergen, Norway
Hagenæss apprenticed as a filigree worker at the workshop of Marius Hammer from 1892.
He was later employed at the workshops of Marius Hammer (Bergen), Antonius Frisch (Kristiania, presentday Oslo), Clemet Berg (Kristiania) and at L. Gullhagen (Fagernes).
Hagenæss established his own business in Bergen in 1909, mainly dealing with jewelry.
Hagenæss' makers marks were J.H and J.HAGENÆSS.
Hagenæss offhanded his business in 1949.
