What indications do you have that this object is from Lille?

I see a Paris charge mark for small objects, in use from 1756-1762, and a date letter mark of a crowned S for 1758. You don’t show a discharge mark, which should be a small shell for that time period. See Tardy, p. 128 and p. 134.

As for the maker, I don’t have a precise attribution, but believe it could be a member of the Gourdin-Delorme family, active mid-18th C. See Nocq, v. 2, p. 271-272. Of course, I could be mistaken about the maker.

You have a personalization of a coat of arms featuring a Croix de Lorraine under the 9-point (?) coronet of a count.

Do you think this is a lidded mustard pot with spout?

No, is on the base.

According to Beuque, "Dictionnaire des poinçons de maitres-orfevres Français du XIVème siècle à 1838" the closest maker mark is for Michel-Pierre de Lapierre, entered in 1737 who was still active in 1785 (N° 1542, p172). However this is not an exact match: the center should be occupied by a stone (symbol for Lapierre), and not by the letter C.
