Vintage Brooch Pin Maker and age help

Post by infoseeker1957 »

This pin has a green face, no idea what it is made of, set in a silver bezel. The back reads Sterling Mexico and has a faded crown on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The face is likely green glass, most everything I see with that mark uses glass and these faces are usually glass as well, not Jade, Green Onyx nor Chrysoprase as many mistakenly ID it. The maker is an unknown. Here is a link to a recent thread about the same mark.
