Soild Silver Box .92 Turkish, Persian?

Hi all,

Here is another gem I am having difficulty in identifying. Marked only with .92
The box seems very old and somewhat fragile, but the detail and workmanship is truly fantastic. I believe it may be Turkish or even Persian in origin. Weight is about 175 grams, measures about 10x6x4cm.
Any input would be appreciated!

filigran. can be silver but can also be made of white metal. wihout other marks impossible to give location.
could be a large number of countries from scandinavia - via mid europe - to africa and middle east.

Filigree work — seldom marked and made almost everywhere, as pointed out by kind friend from Denmark. Let’s concentrate on the craftsmanship then; various shapes made of twisted wire, then placed on flat surface and dusted with powdered solder and heated with a burner. Not too complicated unless soldered to solid silver surfaces (the bottom of the box in this particular case).It should be kept in mind - hard soldering filigree to silver demands heating the entire piece making the process more demanding. Therefore, the rule of thumb is; more solid silver in filigree pieces, the better.
