Hi all,
This matte enamel pin/pendant has full marks for David-Andersen as well as the designer, "Sønke." This is the first piece I have come across by this designer - does anybody happen to know when he/she was active?
Thanks!
David-Andersen Designer Sønke?
Re: David-Andersen Designer Sønke?
I think that I am right.
Sønke Paulsen was a german married to the daughter of Nils Thune ( N.M.Thune).
He was also a designer for David-Andersen and I think it has to be in the 1970th.

Thank you, Tosten! How interesting.
Do you think it would be pretty standard for Germans in Norway to alter the spelling of their name from "Sönke" (with the umlaut) to "Sønke" (with slashed "o")?

Yes, I will believe that. We never use ö in Norway.
He was from the northern part of Germany, from the old "danish part".

That's great information, thank you. I lived in Schleswig for five years, so it's nice to see a "local" connection.
