Hiya,

I found the Gebruder Glaser mark but can not seem to find this moth mark.... any help appreciated and the site can use my photos if needed.

Thanks, Steve

Steve,

You are referring to the mark on the right that reads 800 as in 800-1000 silver content? Or is there another image that did not post?

Sorry Warren, the images that were posted were oversize and I forgot to convert them into links. You should now be able to see the full set of marks.

Thanks so much Trev now I can see what looks like M&R below the out stretched wings of the butterfly/moth. Steve would it be possible to crop in on that image? One of the more experienced members may be able to enlighten you.

Well I don't see how I can get any clearer of a photo of the mark?

Steve,

Let me make a suggestion which I learned here. Take a well chewed wooden toothpick dipped in silver polish to just the mark itself. Just very gently go over it then reshoot. If you don't feel comfortable with that there are a number of more experienced members here who may be able to enhance the image for you.

Good luck!
