Harold E. Sweet, of the R. F. Simmons Co., has been made chairman of the welfare committee of the New England Manufacturing Jewelers’ and Silversmiths’ Association. Other Attleboro jewelers who have been placed on committees are: Edward Gowen, educational committee; Samuel Einstein, nominating and tariff committees; Maurice Baer, membership committee.

George K. Larson associated for many years with the R.F. Simmons Co. died recently at his home, 12 Water St., after a long illness. He is survived by his widow and one child as well as several brothers and sisters.
