Unknown makers mark on Modern Sterling phone cord choker

This modern sterling silver phone cord like choker is flexible, about 15 inches long, with a 2 1/2" opening. It is marked 925 and what looks like LA2. Please help me identify the makers marks. Any and all ideas are appreciated.
