Thanks Theoderich for pointing me in the right direction.
I went the wrong way because the second mark for Liegnitz in
http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_marks_b1884_3.html is almost exactly the crossed keys mark on the box.
Looking now in more details at the Hanau marks page (
http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html ), I can see that this crossed keys mark corresponds to s490 in samples 11 and 12 of Neresheimer & Sohne. Then, the dog head could be another mark to be attributed to Neresheimer & Sohne and the box could be from that firm.
If it is the case than your B in a shield accompanying the dog head could perhaps fit well with s512 in sample 11, which is also attributed to Neresheimer & Sohne and which is probably different from s538 which is attributed on this page to Gebruder Glaser. What is your feeling about this B ?
Anyway I wonder if the second mark illustrating Liegnitz could be a Neresheimer & Sohne one, as it looks so closely like s490.
Thanks again for the help.
