Help with mark

Hi, Can anyone help with the identification of this mark? It is really small, on the upside rim of the base. The pics are magnified several times. The bowl is large, about 17 inches across and 6 1/2 lbs. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Welcome to the Forum.
A friend of mine saw the image of your centrepiece and his opinion was the that it is of Spanish origin.
I'll move your post to the 'Other Countries' forum and see if we get a response there.

Hi again,
In the small oblong box on the top right hand side of the 925 mark, you should find a letter and a number (e.g. M1 = Madrid-1), this will indicate the assay office and may assist with the identification on the maker, whose mark will be the one on the extreme left of your mark image.
Also it may help if you post a sharper image of the marks. Images taken in daylight are best, without the use of the flash.

Dognose, thanks for your help. I will try to get a couple better pics outside tomorrow. I can't emphasize enough how tiny the marks are. All of them together are only 1/4 to 3/8 inch long. I couldn't read the "925" even with the aid of a magnifying glass. Only when the pics are blown up a number of times does it become legible.

OK. Tried to get a couple better pics outside without the flash today. Might be a little clearer. The third pic is to give you an idea of how small the marks are. They look like a small scratch at first glance. The numbers in the little box to the upper right of the 925 box look like G5, maybe.
