The receipt, issued on the 20th June 1857, was to the 'Heirs of Mr John Wright' for one year's Feu-Duty of ground at Constitution Street, Aberdeen, the amount being £5-13s-11d.
It was signed by John Davidson, the Boxmaster of the Aberdeen Hammermen Incoporation.
