Danish teapot

Post by EmmaW »

Please could someone give some insight into the marks below. I've found only one reference online to a Frederik Vilhelm Albertus Gundorph, Assens, trade licence 1866. Is the mark to the left the Assens mark? And does anyone know what the mark to the right (13 1/4 L) means?

Once again, thanks for the help in solving these silver mysteries!

Hi Emma,
The mark '13¼ L' indicates the silver standard. 13¼ Loth equates to around 830/1000.
