Hi!

Here’s a pair of earrings with a set of marks. I know what most of them mean, except the fourth and last one. The fourth one looks like an animal, and last one looks like a M and a V set on each other.
Any information about those marks would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi, the fourth mark is the town mark. The emblem or symbol to the town of origin being Heinola. The date letter K7 is for 1963. MV are the initials/maker's mark for: Viikinniemi Marti, registerd in Heinola 1946-1969 and from 1969-1974 as: Viikinniemi Martti & Co Ky.

Hi! Thanks for the information! But then there's two makers marks, as the first one, TOL, stands for Teuvo O.Liljaniemi. Does this mean that Teuvo has designed the earrings for The Martti Viikinniemi jewellery workshop?

TOL for Teuvo O.Liljaniemi, Heinola is responsibility mark. The designer is Viikinniemi Marti.
It is rather common to see responsibility (sponsor`s) mark far left and designer`s mark on the right. But Viikinniemi Marti had his own workshop.
Probably not registered, but I am not fully familiar of the legislation in this particular case.
