Hey team,
Found this little box in a thrift shop today. Had to put of elbow grease into cleaning it up, but it's a nice little box.
But I can't quite work out the hallmarks. It seems to be a key, 13 and a maker's mark CX.
I think it's probably German? From the first half of the nineteenth century?
But keen to hear peoples thoughts on both the hallmarks and the style of the box.
Thanks, Ben.
