Italy is home of these 2 vases. Made in Milan for the Palace hotel in St. Mourits. I see Elizabeth Tailor and Richard Burton or other celebrities in the 50ties sitting at the restaurant - the image is the glamor of the hotel.
Wonder how many they commisioned? and are my vases stolen or bought at an auktion? are the souveniers from the hotel? We will never know.

I bought 2 vases at an internet auktion. And received the small small vases. They dont dominate the tabel. They just bring colourful possibilities to the damask and elegant porcelain.
The maker is from Milan and its easy to identify. Miracoli & C.
We also can indentify the commisioner. Palace St. Mourits. But what time period are relevant? I wrote 50ties but could be its older?
And finaly the 5 cm high beauty - I have 2.
Would this be industrial - ore are we talking hand made? They must have bought some, but again they are not cheap.
Any comments?
Rococco vases
Re: Rococco vases
Hi,
Hotel silver is much sought for and very collectible, particularly from iconic hotels like St Moritz Palace.
It is handmade (video shows a silversmith in Miracoli workshop in Milan).

There are traces of hammering, even the lettering is done separately by punching individual letters.Beautiful pieces.Hotel items emerge in many ways.

Yes thanks
I have also found a former auktion where 1 vase was sold.
I guess that they have sold out at some time.
They look nice at my table,

Re: Rococco vases
the vases are in a typical Venetian style (but made from many north east silversmiths).
You can find in various sizes but more commonly in small size.

Now you mention it I can see that the style is from venice. The buaty of silver is that you can see the local style - if you know what to look for. Thanks.
