I bought this ring last year. I see the LEN Stamp (Manufac)
I see the crown, 18k, Chester Stamp, and the letter has rubbed off, is there no way to know what year(s) this was from? Any info on age would be great! Please and Thank You!

Re: 18k Chester English Ring Old?
Hi and welcome to the forum.
LEN is the mark of Lewis Edwin Neale of Northampton Street, Birmingham. He registered 4 marks at Chester between 1898 and 1905, describing himself variously as a jeweller or a ring manufacturer. I have tried to work out the date letter but have had to confess defeat. Given the strange shape which remains I suspect that it might be from the 1926-1950 date letter cycle. Clearly 1898 is the earliest possible date.
