Hi and welcome to the forum.

I assume this query is related to your post appended to another query in which you say
KBSP Crown 22 scale or anchor (very faint) and what appears to be ff
im mainly having trouble with the ff
there is also an m but appears to be cut in rather then a hallmark
The hallmark is Chester. The date letter ff is an archaic way of writing F and is the code for the assay year 1931/32. Note that all of the date letters in that cycle (1926-1950) are in that archaic type. The maker's mark, KBSP, is that of Kinsey Brothers & Patrick, ring manufacturers, of Albion Street, Birmingham. And I think that you will find that M is the ring size (16.6mm internal diameter).

You could start by exploring the resources available here on this site. The World Hallmarks pages will give an introduction to the composition of many of the major hallmarking types.
