I've just heard that Jeff Herman (silverhammer) passed away on April 23, 2023 - a great loss to the silver lovers' community. He was a well respected silversmith, designer, restorer, and conservator, and founder of the Society of American Silversmiths - we first met online when I had a question on silver care, he was always a gentleman and generous in sharing his knowledge. May his soul rest in peace...

That is truly sad news - he was perhaps the premier authority on silver conservation in the country. I can echo that my dealings with him were always pleasant and informative. Ave atque vale. I do hope someone will continue to manufacture his silver polish; it really is the best.
