Hi, it is Belgian, Maker's mark "snake symbol' above D for Delheid Frères, active in Brussels 1862-1980.
Delheid Frères
The Delheid house was founded by Michel Delheid in Brussels, around 1827-28. In 1866, two of his sons, Edmond-Joseph and Alphonse-Jules, gave the atelier its definitive name "Delheid Frères". They registered a new maker's mark, the famous capital letter "D" under a snake and gained international notability with their silverware production. The company remained active until the early 1980s.
Delheid Frères was a silver company from Brussels, founded around 1928 by Michel Delheid. The company had a large production of utility silver in neo-styles and later art deco. The studio remained active until the early 1980s.
Continuation of the company of Michel Delheid who transferred the management of his company to his sons in 1862
Delheid Frères produced consumer silver using presses: coffee and tea sets, table silver and various types of boxes.
