Hello all
I recently received a family heirloom pocket watch that was my great grandfather's. It is from the Eastern Watch company, purchased in India.
It appears to have the London Hallmark, dated to 1867.
I cannot identify the makers mark on the site. Appears to be an EGL to me, but uncertain.
Hoping someone can confirm the London Hallmark of 1867. And potentially identify the maker?
Thank you all so much in advance. I and my family truly appreciate it.

Hello,
I suggest you take your jeweller's loupe, hold it against your mobile phone and take some decent photos of the maker's mark.
