Spoon and Fork Jean Puiforcat

Post by silverfan »

This typical Art Deco flatware bears the mark of Emile Puiforcat, E canif P, which was also used by Jean Puiforcat. The photo of the marks is bad, but
the marks show E canif P. Does anybody know the n.ame of the model?

I found the name by myself. It is the model "Cannes" from 1928.

Hello
Cannes was designed in 1928, and is still in production. The design was inspired by the façade of the Hotel Majestic in Cannes. Jean Puiforcat used this model as his personal flatware.
Yes, Jean Puiforcat used the family mark of EP with a canif.
