As you look at the spoon with the tip of the bowl as South and the coat of arms as North, the Minerva head 2 is East and the Maltese cross is West. I...

Hope you can help with the marks on these salad servers. They measure 280mm long and have a European feel to them, marks are identical on both pieces.

Just a quick thought that your item has to be later than 1891 as there's no duty head mark on it.

Thank you for your input. That would make sense, an American maker using his own emblem and pseudo English marks, the lion and crown, to add authenticity to his wares.
