To my eye, the piece appears to be an antique handmade solid silver piece, my gut says Spanish Colonial, South or Central American. That said, keep in mind that my gut is not always reliable and my eye is out of practice.

Hello All,
The maintenance/move is complete and went fairly well. The site may be a bit buggy for the next couple of days as it settles in, but should settle down shortly.
We seem to have lost a couple of the most recent messages that were posted over the last day or so, sorry for the wasted ...

Re: Mark identification help - sugar tongs
Hello,
See William Reynolds of Cork in the Irish Provincial marks section:
https://www.925-1000.com/IrishProvincial_09.html
Given the design of the tongs, think they are more likely to be the work of the younger Reynolds.
Regards, Tom

A bit difficult to read against the textured background, it would help with the ID if you would describe what letters you see in the mark.

Hello,
I can't speak the marks, but the cup form, decoration and construction technique all point to South American origins. For a good sampling of images of near identical cups, google - Bolivian silver cup.

Hi,
I've straightened out your coding as best I can, however the url of the second image was too adulterated to trace the original address. Please post the image of the item again.
Thanks, Tom

Hi,
I believe your box was made by Erhard & Söhne of Schwabische Gmund, Germany, and that it likely dates to the first third of the 20th century.
Here is a link to the google translation of Erhard's German Wikipedia entry:

There existed Mano and Laszlo Latzkó, apparently court jewelers in late 19th century Budapest.
