Re: Old silver cup, Imperial Russia

I have no document that Zolman was a silversmith, but his son Iosif Zolmanovich was definitely a silversmith. The "ЗЕЗ" hallmark was replaced by his "ИЗЗ" hallmark.

Re: Uncommon mark

Hello!
Most likely the manufacturer is Pyotr Rodionov (Пётр Родионов), the owner of a workshop and a store of gold and silver items in Moscow, a participant in All-Russian exhibitions in the 1880s, where he exhibited gold and silver items and jewelry.

Chinese tea set

Hello!
I'm guessing the mark LC & Co belongs to Leeching known in Canton? Hong Kong and Shanghai in the second half of the 19th century. I'm interested in what the hieroglyphs on the other marks mean.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dad!
Thank you very much again!
My question was prompted by the presence of an unattributed hallmark from 1831 with the initials of the assay master ?.Г. Vitebsk or Mogilev?
Regards. Alex.

Thank you very much for the interesting information! One more question: how long did Wulf Rosett work in Vitebsk? Was he replaced by Stepan Polyakov or someone else?
