It's a newly made fake. The mark of "文煒記" can be found on many CES with a shop mark of Luen Wo or others, but this one is clearly not an antique.

It's a Vietnam silver, c.1930-50s, probably Saigon.
The character is "壽" which means longevity in Chinese. It's a common-used motif in China, Korean peninsula and Vietnam. Though people in Koreans and Vietnam have stopped writing in Chinese for dozes of years, you still can find some Chinese ...

Re: Silver Enamel Match Holder / Snuff Box
Was ist denn das?!
Have to say...it'a newly made fake antique, but the material looks solid silver.
I don't know who made this, but they are known to use a single "紋" mark only, presumably since 2000s. The character came from the word "紋銀" which means fine silver but no one use it in modern life ...

Definitely Chinese!
The firm's name is "林萬花”(Lin Wan Hua), "Lin" (林) was probably the surname of the founder, and "Wan Hua" (萬花) is the shop's name given by them which means "ten thousands of flowers". In poor taste I have to say. :)

Re: Korean Silver Spoon with "Silver / Silver" hangul mark
Characters on the mark are "銀은", "銀" means silver in Chinese (people in Korean call Chinese character as hangul), "은" also means silver but it's a Korean script. This spoon was likely in 1960s or 1970s in Seoul.

Town mark is "北京" (read from right to left) which means Beijing.
Material mark is "足紋" (top to bottom) which means Fine Silver.
"乙" is an internally used mark, only god knows the meaning now.
Maker's make is illegible unfortunately.

Based on the style of this "純銀" mark, It should be made in Japanese. Though "純銀" means Pure Silver in China as well, but it was barely used in China before 1949. Only a few firms in Beijing used this word on their marks at that time.

Re: help me identify maker mark of 950 sterling creamer
I've purchased some items bear the same mark before.
The characters on the mark was in a cursive script style, so it's hand to recognise. The first is "風", the last is "作" (means "make"). I've tried to figure out the middle one for years, but no conclusion. Hopefully someone can help in the future.

Re: Does anyone recognise these marks ?
The characters are "純銀旭製", means "Pure Silver Made by Asahi".
It's a mark of Asahi Shoten in Kanji (Chinese characters) instead of Latin letters, which is somewhat rare to find.
Sorry, a typo. The text is actually "純銀旭造".

Re: Unknown marks on necklace
"紋銀", read from top to bottom. It means sycee or pure silver. Most oriental countries didn't bother to quantify the fineness in an accurate way, so it's somewhat an ambiguous concept. Should be between 900 to 970 I think.

Maker mark unknown, a '84' mark on the right for Iran, middle 20th century (before 1979).
