Modern russian gryphon

Post by Kusk »

Hi!

Could anyone help me identify the markings on this gryphon?

I think it is modern russian silver. It is made in what appears to be a good quality.

It has been very difficult to take a decent photo of the marks, since they are placed on the tail almost on the inside.

Thanks!

Hi Kusk,

Welcome to the Forum.

Can you add an image of the lettering on the box?

Hi,

Your hallmark is a Russian Federation Hallmark 1994-to date, the M for regional assay office Moscow.
The date&maker’s mark is not in my reference book, the 7M in the maker’s mark is for Moscow 1997.
