Good Day Rattle,

Let me stick my neck out here to get the conversation going. The general pattern is referred to as a double thread. The 13 is a lot number which indicates a silver grade of 812-1000 per parts one thousand silver. Were used in Germany and other locations. Lot numbers ran from 12-16, 16 being pure silver.

Do check all of the spoons thoroughly to see if there are any additional marks that may indicate a city mark. Even a rubbed out or partial mark can sometimes be identified by some of these very talented and knowledge members. Without it may be extremely difficult to identity the actual person and the time period he worked.

Hope this helps

Hello Rattle,

I think the maker is Martin Vogeno (Hubert Martin Joseph Vogeno) from the city Aachen in Germany (Wolfgang Scheffler, Goldschmiede Rheinland-Westfalens, p. 36 f.).

Warren and Ringo, thank you very much for your comments.
There is no Citymark.
Rosenberg checked. (see Appendix)

Are slightly different Makers Mark.
'm Curious what period these are.
