Help with unknown makers mark AM

Post by nmdc114 »

Hi everyone.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me identify who the initials AM represent on a set of silver salts that I recently purchased. They are hallmarked for London 1865 but despite all efforts, I cannot identify the maker. Here is some pics, sorry for the poor quality.

Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone could possibly advise me on which particular hallmark reference book is the most comprehensive as the books I have are missing loads of makers marks!! Many thanks. Nigel nmdc114
