Help on a Spoon 2 marks(?)

Any help on the mark would be appreciated.
spoon first and then the mark.

I read your marks as Birmingham, 1941.
The R&D mark was used by Roberts & Dore, Birmingham. In business during the last three quarters of the 20th century.
