Inkwell i think

HI folks im new to forum can anyone tell me if this a inkwell .italso has a deep blue pot insert .

it has some markings on the bottom
1 is a shield with CT6 inside it .
then a mark EP
then a mark looks like a arrow .
then letters in a box NS.
can anyone help please. thanks .nomad

Hello Nomad,

This seems to be a mustard pot. The blue insert prevents acids in the mustard to react with the silver. EPNS stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver.

I dont think this goes with the mustard pot .
but does anyone know what it is for ? it has EP ...TB.&SS stamped on the back .?
