Not to mis-lead your inquiry, but searching past references to the 14 1/2 number (lot, loth, ...) seems to suggest Denmark as the more likely origin. Sure someone will pick this up for more info. soon.

Hm ... did the Danes work with 14.5 soldered silver? I did not know that before. I tend to go to Norway. Northern Germany is also possible. I think the master name is "REINKE".

proberly more likely REINER but dont know.

No. Reiner not. REINKE or REINKR. I looked with a good magnifying glass.
