Hi,
Compare the marks on the basket with the 1769 Emick Romer (born in Norway, worked in London). Always with notches (arrows) at least what I have seen.
Cannot guarantee authenticity of the marks.

ER is Edward Read who registered this mark as a smallworker in 1768.

Hello again,
Two almost identical baskets, mid 18th century, both in pristine condition after 250 years, by two different makers, being in the same place at the same time.
Suspicious.

Purchased at different times and places some time ago... Just now sitting down to research some pieces that Ive been sand bagging for a bit...
