Large Silver Knight - What country?

Got this today, it's supposed to be silver. I tested it in a few spots and it seems to be but I can't identify the single mark I see. I'm sorry for the photo of the mark, it's the best I could do using a lit magnifier and my iphone. If anyone can tell me if they recognize this mark I'd appreciate it. Hopefully it's what I was told it is (antique, European silver,etc) Above the mark it looks like a K4?

There are probably two marks but nothing to recognize within them

The mark looks to be the French "weevil" import mark (though upside-down here). That said, 90% of these knight figures I have seen are from Hanau, Germany, and more than half of those by J.D. Schleissner at that.

Yes, that's exactly it. Thank you for the help! It was driving me crazy as I knew I'd once researched something similar but just couldn't remember.
